Fortitude Essentials™ is an Applecross, Western Australia company that makes accessible transportable accommodation. Our product is the Mobile Access Facility™ (MAF™), a road-transportable unit. It has a powered platform lift, a roll-in shower and a profiling bed. You can stay in one, hire one for a site, buy one outright, or licence the design. We publish our measurements so you know exactly what to expect.

What we do
Fortitude Essentials™ is a small, founder-led company based in Applecross, Western Australia. Our founder spent ten years in construction and mining project delivery before starting it.
The MAF™ is a self-contained unit on a road-transportable trailer. It has a powered platform lift at the side door and steps at the rear. Inside is a roll-in shower and a profiling bed. It comes in three configurations to suit different needs. There are four ways to use it: stay in one, hire one, buy one, or licence the design.
We publish the unit’s measurements so you can check it will work for you before you book. We deliver, level, connect and pack down each unit ourselves. We provide accommodation and infrastructure only, with no care, nursing or supervision.

What is the Mobile Access Facility™ (MAF™)?
The Mobile Access Facility™ is a road-transportable, self-contained accessible unit. It arrives on a trailer, is levelled and connected by our team, and gives a person with physical access needs a bathroom, bedroom and living space built around them from the frame up. Who is the MAF™ for?
The MAF™ is for guests with physical access needs. It suits guests who can operate the lift and doors themselves, or with a carer they bring. The unit is unstaffed and self-contained, with a powered platform lift at the side door and steps at the rear.
How do I get in with a wheelchair?
A powered platform lift at the side door takes you and your chair up to floor level. The door opens on a touch pad. There are also steps at the rear for anyone who prefers them.
Will my wheelchair fit?
Doorway, turning circle and lift measurements are listed on the MAF™ page. You can also use the chair check to send us your chair’s width and length, and we will reply with a yes or no and a photo with the tape in shot.
Can I book a stay?
Not yet. Stays open soon at a Perth region caravan park. You can register your interest now with your preferred dates and region in WA. We will let you know as soon as bookings open. Stays will be from $350 AUD per night with a two-night minimum, with delivery, set-up, pack-down and the site fee included. We reply within one business day.
Do you provide care or support workers?
No. Fortitude Essentials™ provides accommodation and infrastructure only. We do not provide care, nursing or supervision, and we do not make medical claims. You are welcome to bring your own support worker or carer; there is room for them. If you are unsure whether the unit suits your needs, talk it through with your health professional.
Can NDIS funding be used?
We work with individuals who may receive NDIS funding. Holiday accommodation is generally not funded, so please speak with your plan manager or support coordinator about whether a stay can be claimed. A unit purchase is high-cost assistive technology and needs an assessor’s report and a written quote. The report comes from your own assessor; we provide the written quote.
Can my organisation hire or buy a unit?
Yes. We work with caravan parks, event sites, disability and aged care providers, health services and government. For hire and purchase, the unit goes to your site after a site check for access, ground and services. Health services can also ask about the Mobile Care Facility™ configuration.
How much does a unit cost?
Purchase is from $155,000 AUD ex GST. Hire is quoted per site. Lead time depends on order volume, and configuration, delivery and commissioning are confirmed on quote. For commercial quantities, please contact us.
Where are you based, and where do you deliver?
We are based in Applecross, Western Australia, and we currently deliver within Western Australia only. For hire and purchase, tell us where your site is and we will confirm delivery and setup after a site check.
Can I licence the design?
The Mobile Access Facility™ is Patent Pending. Manufacturers and operators can request a briefing under a non-disclosure agreement. Start a conversation.
